THE (Fars) REGIME (of Iran) DEMANDS A TURKMEN LAND OF 10 THOUSAND HECTARE MORE

The greatest problem of Turkmensahra has always been the land issue in the Sahra of the Turkmen. Both the Shah administration and the Islamic Republic, the regimes that have commanded Iran never industrially and commercially invested in the Turkmensahra. The only source of revenue of the deprived Turkmen people is the natural sources which are endowed them by God. These divine blessings are also attempted to be seized by the Pharaohs of the day.
During the era of the Shah, the state avoided to give deeds to the agrarian lands that belong to Turkmen. The state even rented the lands, which were cultivated by the Turkmen, to the Turkmen themselves. This was done by the Institution of Pahlavi in the era of the Shah. And in the era of the Islamic Republic, the Institution of Pahlavi has been replaced by the Institution of the Alavi and the Revolutionary Guards have taken the place of senior military.
And now the Islamic Republic demands an agrarian land of about 10 thousand hectare that belongs to 200 Turkmen farmers in the Dashli Boroun region and the regime has commenced to fash the people regarding the issue of ownership. These lands are the lands which were bereaved from the Turkmen by force during the Shah era. Following the revolution, the Institution of the Veterans and the Institution of the Alavi claimed the ownership of the above-mentioned land. They also pursue the strategy of the usurpers of the Shah era.

During the era of the Shah, the state on purpose did not give the deeds of the lands that were cultivated by the Turkmen, so that statesmen could own the above-mentioned land as they wished. And after the revolution, the institutions of the Islamic Republic ruined the lives of the poor Turkmen by seizing their lands.

And this time the Institution of the Natural Sources demands a Turkmen land of about 10 thousand hectare regardless of considering the fact that those people also have a life and they are in need of that land in order to earn a living.
In the region where industrially and commercially no investment has been made, seizing the Turkmen lands that are cultivated by the Turkmen themselves equals to killing or exterminating them. In order to find a solution to the problem, the farmers of Dashli Bourun went to the court. However they failed to get any results. In an environment like this, the only way out for the oppressed people is to resist to the usurpers even with bare hand, like they did in the Okhi Tappeh.

As the Turkmensahra Liberation Organization, we condemn these inhuman practices and we declare that resistance will come to the fore against the land eaters of the dominant regime.
